Here are some facts and figures from The Archers (an everyday story of country folk, broadcast in the UK on BBC Radio 4)
On Sunday 28 February 1999, Min Lacey organised an Archers Sunday at the Exmouth Arms, Cheltenham. Not only did we all enjoy ourselves, but we were joined by reporters from the "Gloucestershire Echo". This picture and report (large, 302 kB) appeared in the Echo on Monday 1 March 1999.
Umra stands for uk.media.radio.archers, a usenet newsgroup for people who enjoy "The Archers". It is a very friendly newsgroup, and welcomes newcomers. There is a lot more information about umra and "The Archers" available.
