The A48, the M4 and the railway are all clearly visible running east-west. On the left of the picture lies Llanwern Steelworks south of the railway. At the right hand side, Caldicot is clearly visible, lying between the M4 and the railway line.

We (and RAF Caerwent) were obvously of no interest to the Russians!
